This year for the fourth of July we were able to get some tickets, thanks to our friends the Prins, to go to the Stadium of Fire at BYU. I have heard how neat the fireworks are but this year was extra special because the blue man group and Miley Cyrus were the performers. Believe it or not my boys love Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana and know several of her songs so they were very excited. It was a neat show even from the nosebleeds and the fireworks were amazing. They actually shoot them off from inside the stadium. The only downer is that bits of ash fall all over you! It was stuck everywhere in my hair. Worth it though. The most amazing part was that Ranger actually feel asleep through the end of the show. Crazy. I would go again to see those fireworks!

Sounds like you guys had a fabulous fourth! :) We ended up stopping by the side of the road on the way home to catch some fireworks, so i'm sure your show was better!
Fun! I've heard from everyone I know that went how great it was. Glad you had a good 4th.
How fun! And how not fair that even when you are dead sick you still look gorgeous! I am sad we didnt get to see you, but i am glad you are finally starting to feel better! How fun is that! I have to admit sometimes I find myself watching Hannah Montana. It's pretty entertaining. I'm happy you guys had fun!
how fun. My kids really dig Miley too lol. My neighbor was up there for the 4th, had never heard of Miley, and she said she even had fun!
Okay so how are you related to the Jennings?? They were in our first married ward! They are such a neat family! We lived just a block away from them in the condos over there.

Hi Gabe and Melanie, Let me just be very clear that I do not blog. It is sunday and I was reading what my wife posted on our blog and saw your link. It was really nice to see your pictures. You have such a wonderful family. I know you both are amazing parents. Looking at your pictures brought back tons of wonderful memories with you. I just wanted to say hi and tell you both that you are such wonderful people and great friends. To bad you don't think it is cool to live in arizona otherwise we could hang out at least once or twice every 5 or 6 years. Take care and I guess we'll see you on Thanksgiving.
